On pown.it some guy – with toooo much freetime if you ask me – made the effort to search and list about 4000 Flash Loops.
Don’t know what a Flash Loop is?
Flash Loops are a quite famous internet meme entertaining a large “underground” fanbase. I chose the term “Underground” because this really viral media has not been used in a mainstream way yet. – like ebaums or newgrounds did with ordinary Flashes –
Flash loops are short clips of animation created with flash or by importing another video source into the flash video and saved as .swf file.
These flash loops will not stop repeating.There will never be a story to understand in an ordinary flash loop. So there is no need to watch closely or catch something that will go away. These flash loops are on repeat.
Most flash loops show a scnene from a cult movie, tv-show, anime or cartoon set to fast electronical music and bright colors or memes or both.
Most of these flash loops are created, or atleased become well known through the flash category /f/ on 4chan.org. If you do not know about 4chan, check out wikipedia, as explaining 4chan.org would take way too much time.
However, even if there is /f/ to supply all of us with fresh flash loops, /f/ only hosts every flash file for a few hours or 1 day…
This is why flash sites like www.pown.it come in quite handy in order to enjoy the complete randomness of bizarre flash loops without running out of loops or time! Here we go! Time for some flashloops
